Dismissal:
Parents will enter our campus from Springfield Ave. via the new road that was constructed this summer and drive around the back of the building.

In the afternoon, cars will double stack side by side in an effort to keep cars off of the city streets. Our School Resource Officer will be outside to assist this process and ensure that cars are double stacking correctly. The line will merge to a single lane before students are loaded in cars. We will load 5 cars at a time and then the next 5 cars can pull into their spots to pick up their students.

Ideally, students will need to load the car on the left side of the car (driver side). We will have staff members stationed at each cone on the driver's side of the car.

We will be using KidAccount, so you will need to have your KidAccount card and your ID in order to pick up your students. We will begin shuttling students out to cars close to 2:45 p.m. and we appreciate your patience with this process. Please drive carefully and do not pass other vehicles during this process. All car riders should be picked up by 3:00 p.m.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL PROCESS FOR 2026-2027
Arrival:
Our school doors open daily at 7:15 a.m. Prior to 7:15, the doors will be locked as we do not have supervision for students before 7:15. Please remain with your child until doors open and a staff member is present to greet and supervise students.

The sun is shining bright on Central Elementary! The classrooms are decorated, the halls are sparkling, the teachers and staff are excited and ready!
