Skillz and Drills on 8/27 is for both boys and girls. Girls is for 3-5th grades Nd it is from 5-6pm. Boys is for 4-5 grades and from 6-7pm. Sorry for the lack of clarity.

🎉 We've been selected as a training site by the Kentucky Autism Training Center (KATC) in collaboration with the Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services (NKCES). We were selected to continue for a second year with KATC!

🌈 What does this mean for your child? This partnership is all about enhancing our ability to support and empower them. Through specialized training and evidence-based practices, we aim to build a more knowledgeable and confident team dedicated to meeting the unique needs of our students with autism.

HOW TO PAY SCHOOL FEES
School Fee Payment

There are 3 ways you can pay fees this year!

1. You can drop off check or cash. Please have correct change!! Please write your student name in the memo line.

2. You can log into parent portal to pay fees online! Directions are linked below.

3. You can mail them to 2805 Longbranch Road, Union, KY 41091. Please write your student name in the memo line.

Helpful hints:

If mailing or dropping off a check, please write your child's name and grade in the memo line.

Fee Amounts:

Kinder through Fifth grade-fees are $60.00
Reduced fees for students on free and reduced lunch, fees are free.

COMMUNICATION-BOONE COUNTY SCHOOLS APP

Most families use their phones as a primary means of communication. With this in mind, Boone County Schools uses a mobile app to help students, parents, and community members know what is happening on campus from their phones. On the app, students, parents, and the school community can read the latest announcements, locate staff contact information, review upcoming events, and find important documents. Through this app we are bringing all communications into one place.

Bringing dialogue into one place

After selecting a class, students, parents, and guardians will be taken to what is called their Class Stream. A Class Stream allows you to view different announcements within a particular course as well as any required permission slips, forms, or assignments given by teachers. This is also where the teacher’s google classroom would sync assignments and announcements so parents and guardians can truly have one place to stay informed.

Two-Way Messaging

The Boone County Schools, KY app, (as it is called in the app stores) takes conversations from different channels and unifies them all in one place. If a student, parent or guardian has questions about upcoming assignments, class curriculum, or anything day-to-day, they can message their teacher directly through this app. Parents will never have to wonder when their children’s homework is due, and students can ask their teacher school-related questions in a monitored, safe place. This is a safe space for teachers to communicate with students and their parents in a way that protects all involved.

Translation

In today’s world, you need to engage diverse audiences. That’s why our new app offers translation that works directly with your phone’s settings – to provide a more accurate and robust translation so everyone can stay engaged.

When you download the Boone County Schools, KY app you will also have access to the district live feed, news, events and more. You also have access to your child’s individual school and can find important information like lunch menus, news and announcements. School alerts will also come to you through this app.
