Okay, doing a project about local TV in Cincinnati. honestly it has me thinking about local TV back home in NYC, especially in the 1960s and 70s. I don't remember local daytime talk shows! I mean local, not Mike Douglas or Merv Griffin who were syndicated and Merv came on at night.
During the day the networks ran Soap Operas. (Channels 2, 4 and 7) the others ran movies (especially 9) I just remember cartoons on 5 and 11 especially after 2:30 3pm.
Sandy Becker was on channel 5, Joe Bolton and some others were on Channel 11, Speed Racer, Gigantor, 8th Man, Stingray were on Tv during the week!
I think 5 had a news show at Noon, but it was News talk, not a variety show unless I'm not really remembering things.
I'm going to do some research on it, but was wondering if folks remembered what I remembered.

Last Fall when I visited K*ksa Nim in Charlotte, he tasked me with creating a BEST OF HWA RANG DO video.
I added a “wrap-around story” to it to give it a little more “flavor” and now it’s called THE WARRIORS OF THE MENG SAE.
