The Workforce Development Board of Middlesex County is reaching out to schools/universities in Middlesex County and surrounding areas to inform you we will be hosting a Job Fair on May 9, 2023, in partnership with NJ DOL and NJ BIA, from 10am-1pm at Middlesex College (2600 Woodbridge Ave, Edison, NJ 08837).

Their goal is to create a stronger pipeline of professionals ready to enter the workforce and employers eager to hire. This Job Fair will be geared towards the Health Care sector with positions available on all levels. Please see and share attached flyer with all information and QR Code for students to register.

It is their goal is to keep students informed of future hiring events and free online professional development resources, please share this information with your students.

The Mobile Academy of the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ) will be hosting a free work-readiness workshop at Kean University on April 22, 9am-2pm. The workshop will cover mining for open job positions, resume writing, cover letters, interviewing skills, LinkedIn profiles, and general business etiquette. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served as well.

Here we are, a week after our Career And Internship Fair at Kean University!

As Dr. Repollet mentioned in last week’s Message From the President, “an estimated 1,000 students from all academic majors visited the fair and networked with more than 200 employers from a wide variety of industries, including such giants as the New York Red Bulls, the New York Jets, Pfizer, Wakefern, Prudential and more.”
