Submissions are now being accepted for the 2027 Premiere Play Festival! 📝

Four Finalists will be selected for public Equity readings in Spring 2027. Following the readings, one play is selected for an Equity production in the Premiere Stages 2028 season and receives an award of $10,000. Another Finalist receives a 29-hour staged reading and $3,000. The other finalists will each be awarded $1,000.

BIG PREMIERE PLAY FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Premiere Stages has selected Everything’s Going My Way by Sophie Boyce as the winner of the 2026 Play Festival! Everything’s Going My Way will have a full production in Summer 2027.

Red Bell by Katherine Swan has been awarded the 29-hour developmental reading in December 2026. Reservations for this reading will open in October.
