Montclair State University is a proud small but mighty whose motto is “It’s your college, your Jewish experience” Where we strive to provide programs, workshops, and speakers that cater to the specific needs and wants of our member. Come celebrate Passover with us in the Underground and make matzah pizza and watch The Prince of Egypt! Passover, known in Hebrew as Pesach, is one of the most important Jewish holidays. It commemorates the Biblical story of the Exodus, in which the Jews were freed from slavery in ancient Egypt.

To observe Passover, EATS by GDS will provide certified Kosher for Passover sealed, frozen meals for the campus community. These meals will be available at the Virtual Kitchen in the Plaza at Blanton Hall, Sam’s Place, & Freeman Dining Hall. Individually packaged, they can be heated in our resident dining hall and retail common ovens or taken frozen for reheating at your convenience. Additionally, matzo and matzo ball soup (not certified Kosher) will be offered during Passover week at Sam’s Place, Freeman Dining Hall, and the Student Center Dining Room
