Today marks the beginning of a brand-new school year, and we're excited to welcome our students back to the cafeteria!

Our child nutrition team is ready to serve nutritious, delicious meals that fuel learning, growth, and success every day. We look forward to seeing smiling faces in the breakfast and lunch lines as we help our Hornets start each day strong.

As we conclude our 2026 Summer Food Service Program, the Bullock County Schools Child Nutrition Program extends its heartfelt appreciation to every staff member, volunteer, community partner, and family who helped make this summer a success.

Together, we served more than 135,000 nutritious meals to children throughout Bullock County, ensuring they had access to healthy meals while school was out. Hunger doesn't take a summer break, and neither does our commitment to serving our students and community.

This summer marked our pilot year using a new meal distribution model, and thanks to the dedication, teamwork, and support of so many, it proved to be a tremendous success. Every meal packed, every box loaded, every vehicle directed, and every smile shared helped make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children.

To everyone who volunteered their time, worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and showed up week after week with a heart to serve, thank you. Your commitment reflects the very best of Bullock County.

As we prepare to welcome students back for a new school year, the Bullock County Schools Child Nutrition Program remains committed to ensuring every child has access to nutritious meals that support learning, growth, and success.

As we wrapped up our final Summer Meals distribution on July 30, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to the incredible volunteers who gave their time to serve the children and families of Bullock County.

Your generosity, hard work, and servant hearts helped make our Summer Meals Program a success from beginning to end. Whether you helped distribute meals, greeted families, or simply showed up ready to serve, your support made a lasting impact on our community.
