🫐🐝 RECIPE OF THE WEEK: Blackberry Honey Roasted Beets with Goat Cheese & Pistachios

Beets just got a little fancy. Our BlackBerry Infused Honey is whisked with balsamic vinegar to create a sweet-tart glaze for tender roasted beets, then finished with creamy goat cheese, crunchy pistachios, and fresh blackberries. The result is earthy, fruity, tangy, and just a little bit unexpected! It's beautiful enough for a dinner party or holiday table, but easy enough to make when you just want to make your veggies a little more exciting.

We celebrated **National Black Cat Appreciation Day** earlier this week, so we’re keeping the kitty love going with this week’s Product of the Week! Our **Sweet Buzzings Catnip** is a fun way to give your favorite feline a little something to get excited about. 😻🌿

And since we’ve been talking about eyes this week, have you ever stopped to think about how different a cat’s eyes are from ours?

Just like honey bees, cats experience the world through eyes that work very differently from ours. Cats can see well in dim light, bees can see ultraviolet light, and humans can see a broader range of colors. Three very different ways of seeing the world… all looking at the same world! 🐝👀🐈‍⬛

August is National Eye Exam Month, and this blog takes a fascinating look at how honey bees see the world, how human vision works, and why simply being able to see clearly doesn't always tell the whole story.

We also share Beekeeper Stacie's personal journey with binocular vision dysfunction (BVD)—something she had never heard of until she happened across a video that made her realize some of the things she had been experiencing might have a connection to the way her eyes were working together.
