Did You Know?
No restoration job can begin without testing for ASBESTOS first, not matter the age!
You can presume Lead-based Paint or test on a home, but document either on Pre-1978.
The US EPA and the State of Michigan DEQ / Asbestos program require that asbestos testing is performed prior to any restoration project. If you Don’t… It is Presumed to be Asbestos!
That if you do not test for asbestos it is asbestos even if found out later it wasn’t.
There is NO exemption for licensed builders for dealing with asbestos!
