The Marching Bears were well represented at District Band this past weekend! Taking place at Fairview High School, three of our own musicians took the stage, spending countless hours working on music. Bellah (trumpet), Mara (clarinet), and Iz (flute) all performed great!

Mara, our drum major and part of the Marter duo, will be representing us at the Region II band concert in March at Northwestern High School! Go Bears! 🐻

Congrats to Drum Major Carter DeSimone, Logan Ahl, and Hailie Blakeslee for being selected to participate in the PMEA District II Chorus Festival.

These students learned how to sing in 4 different languages and spent countless hours preparing multiple choral works for this festival.

Extra special shoutout to Carter for advancing to Regions! We are proud of you all! Go Bears!🐻

We took to the field for the final time this season, beaming with pride at the phenomenal growth we've witnessed. A huge thank you to the dedicated behind-the-scenes crew of parents and staff who have fueled the band's success. Great run bears!

Taking a moment to recognize our graduating seniors! Drum Majors- Mara and Carter, Drumline Captain Cayden and Bass drum line master Logan. They have dedicated many years to our Marching Band program and will be greatly missed.

These kids have made tremendous strides over the past two weeks, and their hard work is making impressive results. Our scores are not only increasing overall, but also in specific categories, demonstrating significant growth and progress. We couldn't be prouder of this talented group and are eagerly anticipating their continued success in the final two competitions.

Tonight we proudly celebrated not one, but two of our band members being part of the homecoming court. A huge shout out to our percussion section leader Cayden Eastman on his well-deserved win as homecoming king. This weeks tireless efforts to refine their technique truly paid off, and we look forward to their future performances. Join us tomorrow at 11a for our homecoming parade.
