Please be informed of an initiative that UNIVISION 41 has taking place across the five boroughs and New Jersey. We’re thrilled they selected again one of our schools to be hosting this year’s Hudson County event. Univision 41 will be hosting its back-to-school initiative "Univision 41 Contigo: Regreso a Clases" on Friday, August 14th, 2026 at Jose Marti STEM Academy - 1800 Summit Avenue, Union City, NJ 07087

This impactful event brings together more than 800 families, with every attendee guaranteed a free bookbag filled with school supplies. In addition to resource tabling by 10+ local agencies and community organizations, the evening features a dynamic family forum focused on the upcoming school year.

Union City High School invites all parent of new students to our Orientation on August 27. We have two sessions, for your convenience. The morning session is at 9am, and the afternoon session is at 4pm. Light refreshments will be served. Please meet in the theater.

Union City High School is excited to invite all incoming 9th-grade students and our incoming 10th-grade students from Esther Salas Academy to our upcoming Union City High School Orientation and Campus Tour.

The orientation will take place on Wednesday, August 19, at 9:00 a.m., beginning in the UCHS Theatre. During the program, you will learn about Union City High School, meet members of our staff, and tour the building before the start of the school year.

Parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend with their students.

We are excited to welcome our newest Soaring Eagles to the UCHS family and look forward to seeing you on August 19!
