Meet Our Assistant Director, Khadijah Brown! 💎✨

Khadijah Brown brings over a decade of experience in early childhood education to GEMS Learning Academy. Originally from St. Helena Island, South Carolina, she has proudly called Georgia home for the past 20 years and has dedicated her career to working with children and families since 2012.

As Assistant Director of GEMS, Khadijah is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels supported as they learn, grow, and thrive. Her leadership style is warm and approachable, with a strong focus on building meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff.

Khadijah believes that strong family partnerships play an important role in each child’s success, and she looks forward to continuing to support our GEMS families while helping every child shine. 💎

Meet Our Director, Kimberly Statham-Martin💎✨

Kimberly Statham-Martin brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and childcare leadership to GEMS Learning Academy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has spent her career supporting children, families, teachers, and early learning programs.

As Director of GEMS, Kimberly is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, organized, and FUN environment where children can learn, grow, and truly sparkle. She believes strong relationships with families and a supported teaching team are at the heart of a great childcare experience.

Outside of GEMS, Kimberly is a wife and proud mom of three boys. She’s excited to get to know each GEMS family and continue building a center our children, families, and staff are proud to call home. 💎
