After a three year hiatus due to COVID we're excited to have Undokai again this year on November 5, 2022. Students, parents and friends are welcome to attend. Student's should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. We'll see you on November 5th!

We're going to start something new this year just for the parents/guardian (and, don't let the picture fool you. It was just something I found on the Internet that wasn't copyrighted. Dads, uncles, and grandpas are invited too!). Schedule permitting, we'll be having a parent social hour (or two, or three) on the first Saturday of each month during the school year beginning at 9:00 a.m. Come join us for tea and snacks and meet other parents/guardians as well as the board and teachers!

Thank you everyone for making our first day of school this past Saturday, August 27, 2022 a success! It was wonderful to see the students and parents again for in-person classes!

The JLS Board of Directors held an emergency meeting on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in light of news of rising COVID-19 cases as schools re-open for the academic year. At the emergency meeting, the Board voted not to go forward with in-person classes and to continue with remote classes until we get better sense of the COVID-19 landscape.
The Board will be re-evaluating the situation on a month-to-month basis. In the meantime, for families who have registered for the 2021-2022 academic year, emails were sent the week of August 16th to update them on the decision of the Board and its impact on registration this year.
