MV BPA STUDENTS PRESENT TO MVCTC SCHOOL BOARD

Aubrey Lang, Cassidy Seubert, and Ella Livingston from Mississinawa were recently recognized for an outstanding national achievement after presenting to the MVCTC Board of Education during its meeting on September 8. The students earned 2nd place in the nation in the Presentation Team competition at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Nashville, Tennessee in May.

Their presentation focused on the important topic of Internet Safety, highlighting the challenges young people face in today’s increasingly digital world. The students discussed strategies for staying safe online. In addition to presenting their Internet Safety topic, the students reflected on their experiences at the BPA National Leadership Conference in Nashville. Their presentation gave the Board an inside look at the hard work, preparation, teamwork, and professional growth that contributed to their national success!

Meet our new band director, Mr. Barga. MV is happy you are joining the team!

Mr. Luke Barga is very eager to be at Mississinawa Valley Schools and is excited to be a Blackhawk! Mr. Barga has been involved in music as early as 5th grade at Minster Local Schools, where he grew up. A recent graduate of Wright State University, his primary goal is to share the enjoyment of music and the paths of expression it allows to all students. Aside from music education, he also plays the tuba, piano, and lends his voice to the St. Augustine Choir in Minster. Mr. Barga cannot wait to get to know the community in the Valley! Make sure to introduce yourself to him if you see him out and about, and make him feel welcome.
