Yesterday, we celebrated the first day of fall! A few of the students helped us collect acorns, and then each student chose a leaf that they liked. Once they had selected their leaf, they rolled two acorns in the color of paint of their choice. We then placed the paint-covered acorns onto their leaves and let the students shake their trays back and forth. As the acorns rolled around, they created colorful designs and painted their leaves. It was a fun and creative way to welcome the new season! 🍂🍁🍃

Today is National PlayDough Day! Therefore, we celebrated by challenging the students to make their own creations out of PlayDough, then they got to take a container of it home with them. ❤️❤️

In honor of Decade Day, during Spirit Week, the students played a game that the teachers remember playing when they were the students age. A few games of supervised Bumper Cars was a fun end to the day.

We’re running behind on posting pictures. In these pictures students worked together to draw on individual whiteboards then put the whiteboards side by side to complete a drawing. We then challenged all the students to form a big line and make one big story, that part was a little more challenging. We love how creative our sweet students are. ❤️

Today our students got the opportunity to decorate a biodegradable pot, choose a flower seed of their choice, then plant the seed they picked. We didn’t get too many pictures because we were soaking up the fun with the kids. 🌹🌸🌻🌼
