Unicoi Elementary Afterschool Enrichment

I am a little late posting these, but our students had a blast learning about sharks this week. We spent a few days during research and writing about what we learned, a few days being creative with our learnings, then the students ended the week with their very own real shark tooth or a shark figure, that they uncovered on their own during our parent night of The End of Shark Week.

The healthy food for today was Cucumbers. Students had to look up 2 different facts about cucumbers, then they got to eat a cucumber. 🥒

Q-Tip Painting was a huge success in afterschool. The kiddos put their skills to the test to paint with Q-Tips.

Today’s challenge of the day was to build something that begins with the letter “T”. We had a few trees, a toliet, a tree house, and a few more things.
