I wanted to let everyone know there is an all Union job fair today in West Fargo from 4 to 7pm at the Double tree. If you know someone looking to get a job in the trades now is the time. All trades are here along with multiple contractors. Stop by and visit.

I was at our Training Center out on the east side of the state today for there last weekend of school. We wanted to highlight our apprentices and Jenn who received top of the class in her 4th year. Congratulations! One of our instructors started doing group photos every year to have memories of each class year. It’s great to see so many apprentices in our small JATC. Our future is bright. Thanks to all my instructors on both sides of the state, as they take the time to give back. We couldn’t do it without them.

Here is a couple pictures from over the weekend in Underwood. This is the top apprentices from each year we have this year. All three apprentices received a pair of steadman tongs and some Malco swag.

A couple pictures from the Halstad class during the training. One apprentice decided to be a comedian with his fittings.

I wanted to share this video from the class at the Halstad location. Our instructors held a duct pressure class with the apprentices to show the importance of proper sealer and why we use certain seam connections. This is something different that they don’t see on the job.

It was welding this weekend on the east side of the state. The instructors had the apprentices doing bend tests on there welds to see if they can stand up structurally. Some turned out good and some failed.
