I’m making a quilt this week using some dreamy Fableism cotton in the warmest Amber color, and some tiny stripes that I tea stained. The opposite blocks will have a black linen star and Amber background 🖤🤎
These are fun to make using freezer paper templates! I think there will be 5 or 6 blocks across and 6 down. So the quilt will be somewhere around 72” on the longest side.

Welcome to my sewing club! I teach high school so I'm really busy during the school year, but I usually teach a few workshops in the summer (sometimes during the holidays). I teach quilting workshops for adults and smaller practice classes for beginners. Sewing is a great skill and it's very addictive as well! I have been so busy the last couple of summers that my workshops have been limited, but I’m rounding up some of my favorite fabrics for a Red, White and Blue scrappy table runner workshop! I am very patriotic and thought it would be fun to make some quilted star block table runners for our Fourth of July get togethers!
Keep an eye out for information on the upcoming workshop. My studio is a couple of miles off the Underwood exit, and this is where the workshop will be held. More to come! ❤️🤍💙
