One of my favorite PE teacher hacks 🙌

An over the door shoe organizer = the perfect water bottle holder for the gym.

No more bottles rolling into the activity, getting kicked across the floor, and way less spills to clean up 🙃

Sometimes the simplest ideas make the biggest difference.

Back to school PE activity #3 🙌

Third and final one! I’m sharing these now instead of waiting until I’m actually doing them with my classes because I know so many PE teachers are already planning that first week 😂

Crazy Cards is such a fun one because some of the challenges are just plain silly. It gets kids laughing, helps everyone loosen up a little, and you start seeing their personalities come out almost right away.

I loved the idea so much and created an editable set with the challenges and activities that work best for my students.

I fear I may have spent more time watching Blaze than the actual game 😂

But knowing there won’t be a Connecticut Sun next season makes me want to soak up all the little things that make these games feel like home too 🥺

So yes, I’ll be documenting every last bit of Blaze chaos while I still can 💛🧡

Back to school PE activity # 2 🙌

I usually post these games while I’m actually doing them with my classes, but by then it’s a little late for anyone trying to plan their first week 😂 So I’m bringing back the three activities I use every year before school actually starts.

Have You Ever is such an easy one because the kids get moving, learn a little about each other, and I get to sneak in some listening and following directions without spending the whole class talking at them.

And for the kids who do NOT want to be front and center in front of the whole class, I never force it. They can come stand next to me and still get to be part of it without being put on the spot 🙌

One of my favorite first-week PE activities 🙌

Instead of just standing there telling students a bunch of random facts about me, I turn it into a Four Corners game so they can move, guess, and get to know their PE teacher at the same time.

It’s such an easy way to keep that first week fun while still getting everyone comfortable in the gym.

I made an editable version so you can swap in your own questions and answers too!
