🍦❤️ COOL TIME WANTS TO BLESS A LOCAL BUSINESS! ❤️🍦

A few weeks ago, we made a post asking our community to nominate a local business that deserves a little blessing and recognition. We spend so much of our time serving residential neighborhoods, but we also want to make sure we’re showing some love to the hard-working local businesses and their employees who serve our community every single day.

And then… life happened. 😅

Right after we made that post, Cool Time 2.0 blew its engine. Suddenly, our focus became figuring out how to keep our family business moving forward, getting another truck up and running, and trusting God through another unexpected chapter.

With everything going on, that original post got pushed to the side—but God put it back on my heart. 🙏❤️

🙏🍦 SHE HAS A NAME… MEET GRACIE! 🍦🙏

After the message at church today, it just felt like God was speaking straight to our hearts. ❤️

So we’ve officially decided to name the newest chapter of Cool Time Ice Cream Truck… GRACIE. 💕🍦

Why Gracie? Because GRACE is exactly what has carried us through.

Through the accident…
Through losing our original truck…
Through Cool Time 2.0 not going the way we planned…
Through the setbacks, the tears, the questions, and the moments when we wondered, “God, what are You doing?”

And yet, here we are. 🙌

Not because everything has been easy.
Not because everything has gone according to OUR plan.
But because God’s grace has been sufficient every single step of the way.

Sometimes God doesn’t calm the storm the way we expect… sometimes He reminds us that His grace is enough to carry us THROUGH it. 🙏

So when you see Gracie rolling through your neighborhood playing that familiar ice cream music, know she represents a whole lot more than ice cream. 🍦💕

She represents faith after fear, hope after disappointment, and GRACE through every season.

🍦✨ COOL TIME 2.0… A WORK IN PROGRESS & A WHOLE LOT OF GOD’S BLESSINGS! 🙏💗

When we look at these pictures from the day we found her to where she is today, we can’t help but say one thing…

GOD IS SO GOOD! 🙌

What started as a plain white truck with a “FOR SALE” sign in the window is slowly becoming everything we could have ever dreamed of for Cool Time Ice Cream Truck 2.0! 🍦🚚💨

Is she finished? Not even close! 😂
Is she already serving ice cream? You better believe it! 😎🍦

Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue adding, changing, wrapping, decorating and putting all those special Cool Time touches on her. We have some REALLY cool things planned, and we can’t wait for y’all to watch this transformation with us! 👀🔥

This journey definitely hasn’t gone the way WE planned it…but sometimes God’s plan looks completely different from ours, and then you realize His plan was better all along. ❤️

This entire journey started because of an accident we never saw coming. It changed so much for our family and sent us down a road we never expected to travel. But through every setback, every tear, every repair and every moment we wondered “What now?”, God continued to remind us that He was still in control. 🙏

❤️ We also wanted to share an update on the young motorcycle driver involved in the accident five weeks ago. After an incredibly difficult five weeks, he has finally been able to move on to rehab and physical therapy! 🙏🙌 He still has a very long road ahead of him, and we continue to pray for his healing, strength and recovery.

We hope one day he realizes just how much purpose God still has for his life. God has a plan for that young man bigger than he could ever imagine. To survive what he survived and now begin this next chapter of recovery… he is one very fortunate young man with one heck of a story to tell. ❤️‍🩹🙏 We pray that someday his story becomes someone else’s reason to believe that miracles still happen.

We could never have made it through everything without our incredible family, friends and COMMUNITY standing behind us, praying for us, encouraging us, helping us and continuing to support our little family business. You have no idea how much that means to us. 🥹🙏

🙏🍦 GOD ALWAYS PUTS THE RIGHT PEOPLE IN YOUR PATH! 🍦🙏

We have to take a minute to give a HUGE shoutout and THANK YOU to Luke Goldsmith with Goldsmith Rv repairs ! ❤️

When we say this man has been a Godsend to Cool Time Ice Cream Truck, we truly mean it. 🙌

It doesn’t seem to matter what Luke has going on… when we call with another “Hey Luke… the ice cream truck is doing something again…” 😂🤦‍♂️ he stops what he’s doing and does everything he can to help us get back on the road.

Through the accident, the rebuilding, the mechanical headaches, and all the craziness that has come with getting Cool Time rolling again, Luke has continued to show up for us. No excuses. No hesitation. Just a good person with a huge heart willing to help. ❤️

Sometimes God answers prayers by changing the situation… and sometimes He sends people into your life to help you through it. 🙏 We truly believe Luke is one of those people.

Luke, THANK YOU for every phone call you’ve answered, every problem you’ve helped us figure out, every time you’ve dropped what you were doing, and every bit of support you’ve given our family and Cool Time.

We appreciate you more than you know! 💯

🍦💗 SHE’S BACK!!! 🙌🙏

Today is a BIG day for the Cool Time family… Jamie is officially back on the ice cream truck for the FIRST TIME since the accident! 🥹🍦🚐

If you’ve followed our journey, you know these past several weeks haven’t exactly gone according to our plans. There have been tears, setbacks, broken trucks, unexpected expenses, and plenty of moments where we wondered, “What else can happen?!” 😅

But through every single bit of it, GOD HAS BEEN GOOD. 🙏

Sometimes God doesn’t calm the storm right away…sometimes He reminds you that He’s right there in the boat with you. ❤️

Getting back behind the wheel after everything Jamie went through takes courage, faith, and a whole lot of trust. Today isn’t just another day selling ice cream…

It’s a comeback. 💪🍦
