Programming areas are 4-H and Youth, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Community Development and Family & Consumer Sciences. An Executive Board of nine people, elected from the members of the Extension Council, serves as the governing body of Grant County Extension. The program development committees serve as advisors to each of the program areas of Agricultural and Natural Resource, Family and Consumer Science, 4-H and Youth and Community Development." A rain barrel can help reduce runoff, supplement landscape irrigation and make better use of rainfall that would otherwise be lost. We want to give the Grant County Community Foundation a shout out for their Legacy Gifts option that Alice Frey took advantage of. Alice was the FCS Agent in Grant County for 40 years and upon her passing she left legacy gifts to six Grant County organizations, including Grant County 4-H/Extension Council. This gift goes in to our endowed fund to help support future generations of 4-Hers. We are forever grateful to Alice and her service to our community.
