UJA Parents,

Summer break is nearly over. UJA teachers report back to work this Monday. Things are gearing up for the new year! We are excited to have children back soon as it’s been a little quiet around here. Here some dates to take note of as we work on getting ready for the year.

Monday, Aug. 10; teachers report back to work, first staff meeting at 9:00.
Tuesday, Aug. 11; Mr. Nelson off campus for principals’ meetings.
Wednesday, Aug. 12; Teaching staff off campus for training.
Sunday, Aug. 16; Campus Clean-Up Day, 9AM-3PM.
Volunteers are welcome, come for as long or short a time as you want.
Cold drinks and snacks for volunteers (or bring food and have lunch with us)
Bring leaf blowers and garden tools if available
Meet teachers and other volunteers/families
Clean-up tasks available both inside and outside
Monday, Aug. 17; Parent Orientation, 6PM
Grazing treys and tables in courtyard for snacks and socializing.
Introductions and General Orientation with Mr. Nelson
Classroom orientations following General Orientation.
Thursday, Aug. 20; First day of school!!!
