In the past few weeks, Foundation staff and volunteers visited 26 elementary schools in Mendocino and Lake County, and gave out a total of 78 Adopt a Fifth-Grader awards to some truly outstanding students.
We want to take a moment to thank all of the teachers, administrators, parents, volunteers, and donors who make this program a reality. In the past 20 years, the Adopt a Fifth-Grader program has grown considerably, and has directly impacted over 1,000 students in our community.
