As Teachers' Appreciation week comes to a close, I want to say how much our teachers mean to us at Tree of Life Charter School! They bring personal attention to our students, so each student feels seen. Our small, unique school wouldn't be what it is without you: Sara E, Sara R, Molly, Violet, Veronica, Tessa, Tony, Andrea, Angela, Jean Francois, Lee, and Joaquin! I hope you enjoyed your Teacher Appreciation Tacos. Like usual, I forgot to take photos!

Our Gatsby Gala was a huge success last weekend! Bingo, Poker, delicious food, drinks, and music! Thank you to everyone involved, especially our sponsors: Frey Vineyards, Leonard Lake Reserve, Law Office of Jacqueline Rosario, Mendocino Forest Product, the Patrick Family, Willits Redwood Company, and Jerry Beaty Tree Surgery and Tractors. We raised $14, 894 for our fire suppression sprinklers for our new building!

Our Senior Elementary classroom's overnight field trip to Jughandle State Park was phenomenal! They just returned to school and they look exhausted and happy! Flashlight tag, s'mores, beach time, 4 1/2 hike, scrubbing whale bones, a boat ride in Noyo Harbor, and bird watching just to name a few of the activities.

It was a beautiful day for our 7th and 8th graders to be drumming outside!
