Wonderful news for the VUST community!

Virginia University of Science and Technology has received a five-year renewal of institutional accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), beginning in November 2026.

This milestone follows a comprehensive accreditation review and reflects the dedication of our students, faculty, staff, and leadership. We are especially grateful to everyone who completed surveys, participated in meetings, prepared documentation, and supported the accreditation process.

This achievement affirms VUST’s commitment to educational quality, institutional integrity, student success, and continuous improvement.

Congratulations to the entire VUST community. We are proud of what we have accomplished together and excited about the future!

Our very own student, Christina Cooper, was just named the 2026 Cyber Educator at the 12th Annual Cyberjutsu Awards by the Women's Society of Cyberjutsu!
Christina’s incredible achievement is a testament to nearly two decades of dedication to both federal and private sector cybersecurity. Here is a powerful look at her journey, in her own words:
💬 "The record just caught up to the work.
On June 27, 2026, the Women's Society of Cyberjutsu named me the 2026 CYBER EDUCATOR. This is not where the work started. This is nearly two decades of dedication—a framework I built and published on an international stage, and a book that hit #1 across more than ten Amazon categories. Twice.
I have been teaching how to navigate AI safely long before it was a trending conversation. I never waited for permission. I just did the work.

To the peers who nominated me: you saw it before the world named it. That kind of witness is a gift.

To my daughter: everything I build is for the world you are going to lead. You make me reach higher than I knew I could go. Our legacy is just getting started.
