💻 THIS is why we created The Technology Group. 🚀

We wrapped up our Python Summer Coding Camp, where students spent more than 25 hours immersed in hands-on technology learning, coding, building projects, exploring AI, learning about technology careers, and discovering what they are capable of creating.

But the best part? Hearing directly from our students from Langley High School!!

One camper told us:

⭐ “This is the most fun I’ve ever had working other than school.”

⭐ “He is the GOAT, and he is what made me want to learn every day.” about our incredible instructor

And when asked what we should add next year?

“Everything. I WILL be here with my sister next year.” 🙌🏾

We didn’t just want students to learn how to code. We wanted them to leave excited about technology, curious about their futures, and able to see themselves in careers they may not have considered before.

🏫 NEXT UP: This fFairfax County Public Schoolsl be heading back into FFairfax County Public Schoolsclassrooms to deliver our Pathways to Tech Careers workshops, helping even more middle and high school students explore careers in cloud computing, cybersecurity, software engineering, AI, and beyond.

What an incredible week at The Technology Group’s Python Coding Camp! 💻🚀

This week they:
✅ Wrote real Python code
🎮 Built a working game application
💡 Explored exciting careers in technology
🤝 Strengthened their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
🏆 Completed 25+ hours of hands-on coding and earned their Certificate of Completion

A huge THANK YOU to our students for bringing their energy, curiosity, and determination every single day. You made this camp special.

Thank you to the parents and families for trusting us with your children and supporting them throughout the week.

This may have been the end of camp, but it’s only the beginning for these future software engineers, cybersecurity professionals, AI innovators, and technology leaders.

Next up we will be in FCPS schools providing tech career workshops!

🚀 Day 4 and the energy is still HIGH! 💻🔥

It's hard to believe we're already on Day 4 of our Summer Coding Camp!

This week our students have:
✅ Written real Python code
✅ Built a real gaming app
✅ Learned about careers in technology
✅ Strengthened teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

By Friday July 10th, each student will have completed 25+ hours of hands-on coding instruction and will receive a Certificate of Completion recognizing an incredible week of learning and growth.

The confidence we've watched these students build in just one week has been amazing. They're asking better questions, solving more complex problems, and realizing that they truly belong in technology.

🚀 Day 2 of 5 is officially underway at The Technology Group's Summer Python Coding Camp!

What an exciting start to the week! Our students are already diving into Python programming, solving real-world challenges, and learning directly from industry professionals.

Parents! The summer slide is real, but don't worry let us handle that. This summer, The Technology Group will be hosting our annual Python Coding Camp from July 6-10, 8am-4pm, in Tysons Corner Va.

This camp is designed for students in grades 6-12, and the best part is no prior coding experience is required.

Your child will learn how to think critically, solve problems, and build real projects. We’ll also provide lunch and snacks.

Beginning July 1, FCPS high school students will no longer be permitted to use cell phones or smart devices during lunch as part of Virginia's new cellphone policy.

While some students may see this as a challenge, we see it as an opportunity.
