Headed to Meet the Teacher tonight? 🍎📚

Don't forget to grab sunset slush from our friends at Sunset Slush 814. They're giving a portion of all sales to our PTO! This money goes right back to the school for fun activities and events. 😎🚨

And be sure to stop at the PTO table and say hi 👋🏼 We'll be raffling off a basket for those who leave their contact info to volunteer

The school year is right around the corner! 🚌📚

It's time to get your clearances so you can volunteer for the PTO! 📝✅

1. Visit the link in the comments to see the requirements
2. Complete the 2 school district forms (guest volunteer disclosure and arrest/conviction)
3. Go to the PA state website and submit criminal record check and child abuse clearance. Criminal record check is instant but the child abuse clearance can take several days to get back. You should get a paper back for each of these.
4. Turn everything into the elementary school office

Today, we're going to meet our Assistant Fundraising Coordinator 👋🏼

👧👦 👦👧I have four kids, a daughter in 1st, a son in 4th, a son in 7th and a daughter in 8th

🍎 Favorite school event: I love helping and organizing the book fair. It was one of my favorite school events when I was a kid, and I love seeing the excitement the kids get picking out their items.

❤️ Why I volunteer: I want to be able to give back to the school in any way that I can. The teachers and staff give so much to these kids, and I love being able to help them with that. 🖤🧡

❤️ Why I volunteer: I started volunteering with the PTO because I wanted to experience all the school activities with my kids and see how happy they get when I'm there. I like being able to help make these events and activities fun and exciting for all the students.

❤️ Why I volunteer: I love being on the PTO because it allows me to be an active part of my boys’ school experience, get to know the amazing staff, and give back to our school community. I love supporting our teachers and helping create fun, meaningful experiences that our children will remember for years to come.

❤️ Why I volunteer: I have always dreamed of being able to go to my kids school to help with book fairs and other school events! My kids get so happy when they see me volunteering at events! My son yells to all his friends “that’s my mom!”

👧👧 Kids: 2 girls, 4th grade and 1st grade

🍎 Favorite school event: Picture day and Book fair

❤️ Why I volunteer: I started volunteering with the PTO because I wanted to be more involved in my children’s school experience. Seeing how excited they were to have me at school and getting to know their teachers and classmates has made me want to continue giving back to our school community.
