300’ paper mill stack to be blown down with charges Just getting the word out on where to watch the show. After three years of talk, it’s time for some action. If you can’t go, do me a favor and tell your friends.

I heard about this project(imploding the stack) roughly 3 years ago. I instantly knew we needed to have a viewing section for Tyrone to say goodbye to a landmark. Every person who has grown up in Tyrone, has known this stack their whole life. I had a state explosive tech come to my place for an overview of the area. He informed me that Monday is the proposal meeting for the blasting of the stack,

if everything looks good, it should be within two to four months. From my yard you can see the whole stack, too to bottom. We will ask for a small cover charge for adults over 18. We will have food and refreshments available and porta potties as well. Everyone deserves a opportunity to watch such an iconic landmark bite the dust. We will have a spot for pictures in front of it and it will be open the day before. I will keep updating as I get info.

There will be food and drinks available as well as restrooms. There will be a spot to take pictures. In front of the stack, with Tyrone in the background, before it falls. There is parking available on site. Come watch a major event in Tyrone’s history.

The explosives tech said they will drop the stack like a tree. This may be one of the bigger positive events in Tyrone history, don’t let your family miss out on town history!

For the news of the year, American eagle paper mills have decided to blast the stack. I had the inspector with dep come up to my place today and snap some pics off the Deck. He wanted an aerial photo of the drop zone. I have the only seats in town. With the evac zone, it’s going to be almost impossible to see the stack fall from anywhere but my front yard. I am going to sell tickets to watch the show. pm me if you want kid inf
