🎉 Welcome to the Board, Claire Gibbs! 🎉

Claire has dedicated her life to education, leadership, and empowering others, making her a perfect fit for our mission!

As a Human Resources manager and payroll consultant, she led adult education sessions covering everything from supervisory training to software instruction. Even in retirement, her passion for education continued as she taught conversational English in China and worked with students at a low-income school.

She is also a proud 50+ year member of P.E.O., a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting women's education. Through her service, she has helped numerous women pursue their educational goals through scholarships and grants.

We're so grateful to have her as part of the PAVE family! 💙

🎉 Welcome to the Board, Tony Carrillo Jr.! 🎉

26 years ago, Tony walked through PAVE East Texas' doors as a student, earning his GED and opening the door to new opportunities. Today, we're honored to welcome him back as one of our newest members of the Board of Directors.

Today, Tony is the founder of Carrillo Realty & Property Management, LLC, a business he launched from his garage in 2016. He and his wife, Patty, are consistent multi-million-dollar real estate producers who recently welcomed their son, Antonio, into the thriving family business.

Deeply rooted in his community, Tony serves as Assistant Pastor for Spanish Ministries at Tyler Tabernacle, a Certified Community Education Specialist for Tyler ISD, and an active mentor for local youth. Though he considers his family his greatest achievement.

We couldn't be more excited to have someone who has experienced PAVE's mission firsthand helping lead our organization into the future! 💙👏

We are beyond honored to be selected as a 2026–2027 Junior League of Tyler Community Partner! 🎉

Because of the Junior League's support, our Family Literacy Program at the Family Learning Center of Tyler will continue transforming generations by helping parents build brighter futures for themselves while their children are in the same building in an accredited preschool. Together, we are fostering a culture of generational learning that strengthens families, breaks down educational barriers, and creates lasting change. 💙📚

PAVE East Texas will be closed June 29-July 3 for Summer Break and again July 6-10 for Staff Training Week.
