PAVE East Texas is excited to bring GED classes to Malakoff in partnership with Bookish and an incredible team of dedicated volunteers!

Enrollment will be held Tuesday, September 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bookish, located at 211 S. Terry St.

Two more awards deserve the spotlight! 🏆

For the THIRD year in a row, First Presbyterian Church of Tyler, Texas took home the Spirit Stick! Their Newsies-inspired chants had the room ready to “seize the day” and maybe even go on strike! Every year, they get louder, more creative, and harder to beat! 📰

The Best Costume Award went to Squyres & Co. for their practically perfect Mary Poppins costumes, complete with chimney sweep brushes! ☂️🧹✨

✨35th Annual PAVE East Texas Spelling Bee!✨

Yesterday, 14 teams took center stage for our “Bee on Broadway,” all in support of adult education in East Texas!

A standing ovation goes to The Genesis Group, who took home the Spelling Bee championship title for the second year in a row! 🏆

The highlight of the event was celebrating Tony's incredible journey from GED student to the newest member of PAVE’s Board of Directors. What a powerful, full-circle reminder that education truly transforms lives! 💛

Thank you to everyone who made this our best event yet!
