Congratulations, Prosenjit Ghosh, on winning First Place in the 2023 UT Tyler Business Model Competition.

Prosenjit presented AgroDrone, a project that uses Internet of Things (IoT) devices, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) images, and machine learning methods that detect current cotton diseases, predict potential diseases, and suggest pesticides to prevent them, with the potential to be used in other agriculture. He was awarded $7,500 to continue developing this project.

Prosenjit is an MS in Electrical Engineering student at UT Tyler, graduating in Spring 2023, and will continue pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.

Happy to share the news that I ran as a Senator for two seats (Senator for the College of Engineering and Computer Science and Senator for the Graduate Student Body at large) in the Student Government Association Election 2022 at the University of Texas at Tyler, and I won both seats. I want to thank BSA members who voted for and supported me.
