🎉 Start With Hello Week is September 21–25!💚

Griffin Bulldogs, get ready for a fun week of kindness, inclusion, school spirit, and celebration!

Each day will have a special theme, and students may wear jeans and be out of uniform if they participate in the daily theme. We want everyone to join in as we encourage our students to connect with others, spread kindness, and help everyone feel welcome.

We will also be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month throughout the week, especially on Friday with our **Cultural Colors Day**. Students are encouraged to wear the colors of a Hispanic country’s flag and proudly celebrate the cultures represented in our Griffin community.

💚 Monday: Green Day
💛 Tuesday: Positive Message Day
✌️ Wednesday: Peace, Love & Kindness Day
🏈 Thursday: Team It Up Day
🌎 Friday: Cultural Colors Day

¡Bulldogs de Griffin, prepárense para una semana divertida llena de amabilidad, inclusión, espíritu escolar y celebración!

Cada día tendrá un tema especial, y los estudiantes podrán usar jeans y no tendrán que usar uniforme si participan en el tema del día. Queremos que todos se unan mientras animamos a nuestros estudiantes a conocer nuevas personas, demostrar amabilidad y ayudar a que todos se sientan bienvenidos.

También estaremos celebrando el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, especialmente el viernes durante nuestro **Día de Colores Culturales**. Invitamos a los estudiantes a usar los colores de la bandera de un país hispano y celebrar con orgullo las culturas representadas en nuestra comunidad de Griffin.

We loved welcoming you into our classrooms, sharing what our students are learning, and seeing our Griffin community come together. Our students are most successful when school and families work together!

Bulldog Families 🐾🧡💙

Just a reminder that our Open House is tomorrow from 5:00–6:30 PM! We will begin with a short PTA meeting from 5:00–5:15 PM, followed by 3 rotations so families can visit classrooms and learn more about what’s happening at Griffin.

We can’t wait to see you and welcome you into our classrooms.

🐾 Griffin Families — Let’s Fill the Pantry 🧡💙

The 36th Annual Food Pantry Drive is here, and we need our Bulldogs’ help!

Students can bring canned goods to school and drop them off in the morning for their grade level.

Grade Level Challenge: The grade level that collects the most cans will earn a Popsicle Party at recess!

Extra Special Prize: The top 3 classes with the most canned goods and monetary donations will get the opportunity to run onto the field with the Tyler High Lions on October 16th!

Let’s show our Bulldog spirit, help families in our community, and see which grade level can collect the MOST! 🐾
