Dear Boulter Families,

As we prepare for a successful school year, we want to communicate our expectations for the student dress code to everyone. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment where every student can focus on what matters mostβ€”learning.

Please review the highlights below with your child before the first day of school.

Students May Wear:
Sneakers, boots, loafers, and sandals/Crocs with a heel strap
Jeans, pants, sweatpants, and shorts, skirts, or dresses that are no more than 5 inches above the knee
Leggings when worn with a shirt that extends to the fingertips
T-shirts, polos, button-up shirts, sweatshirts, and sweaters with sleeves that fully cover the stomach, even when arms are raised
Ear piercings and nose studs
School-appropriate clothing with positive graphics and messages

Students May Not Wear:
Flip-flops, house shoes, high heels, or sandals without a heel strap
Pajama pants
Shorts, skirts, or dresses more than 5 inches above the knee
Clothing with rips, holes, or frays above the knee
Sagging pants
See-through, mesh, fishnet, or cut-out leggings or shirts
Tank tops, spaghetti straps, racerback tops, muscle shirts, crop tops, or shirts tied in the back
Hats or hoods worn inside the building, bonnets, hair nets, shower caps, bandanas, or do-rags
Jewelry other than ear piercings and nose studs
Clothing displaying offensive, violent, profane, racial, drug/alcohol-related, or otherwise inappropriate language or images

If a student is out of dress code, they will first be given the opportunity to correct the issue. Continued dress code violations may result in additional disciplinary consequences and parent communication.

Thank you for partnering with us to ensure all Vikings are ready to learn each day. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a positive and focused learning environment.

Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Your Best.
