Join us for fun and competitive camp focused on:
-shooting and ball handling
-defense & footwork
-game play & competitions

Led by Tyler High coaches and players. This camp is designed to help athletes of all skill levels improve confidence, fundamentals, and overall performance.

During the last week of school, on-level, first period US History classes of Wilhite and Woodward made parade floats based on the eras they studied this year: Gilded Age, Progressive Era, World Power, Great Depression, WWII, Cold War, 60s, 70s & 80s, 90s & Today. Students worked on floats in teams for over a week. They paraded the floats around the square, pausing under the Lion for Admin to help judge.

Congratulations to our Tyler High School teachers recognized through the Tyler ISD TOP (Tyler Optimal Performance) designation under the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)!
This recognition celebrates highly effective educators who continue to make a positive impact on student learning and success every day. We are proud of our teachers and grateful for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

The Tyler High School Band program is proud to announce that Samuel Williams was named an Outstanding Performer on his Snare solo at the 2026 UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest! This is the highest honor awarded at the state contest and recognizes exceptional musicianship, artistry, technical excellence, and overall quality of performance. Only a very small percentage (1-2%) of soloist statewide receive this award of distinction yearly, placing Samuel among the very top high school soloist in Texas, which puts him among the very best in the nation!

Samuel is a 4X God Medalist at the UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest…we are extremely proud of him! His future plans include marching with Tyler Junior College Apache Drumline! Congratulations!! 🦁💙🎶🥁

A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for treating our teachers and staff to a baked potato luncheon today! We are so thankful for the support and appreciation shown to our campus.
