Womenary equips women to think biblically by providing theological studies. Womenary is unique.

Womenary is designed for women who desire to grow to the full measure of their Christian faith, while still fulfilling their commitments to family, church and career. Respected Christian leaders agree that they know of nothing else exactly like Womenary. Simply put, it is a series of classes, offered to women, in a relaxed classroom setting. Instructors for Womenary are seminary graduates who love

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  Matthew 22:37

Have you ever considered that loving God with all of your mind is a form of worship? Do you desire to know God more? In Systematic Theology we will discover the importance of loving God with all of our mind as we learn what can be known about God in an organized study of His attributes, administration, and authority over the created order. We will look at the study of nature, method, and sources of theology; revelation, especially the inspiration, authority, sufficiency, and inerrancy of the Bible. What we think about these things matters and these thoughts lead to our beliefs about God. Come learn how theology informs your worship of God in our fall offering of Systematic Theology.

Are you looking for a theological book to encourage your mind and heart to learn more of God this summer? “Knowing God” by J.I. Packer was recommended by Dr. Graham Hale as one of the most impactful books he has read. He shared recently in class that this book makes the list again and again of people of faith as an important book to read. Have you read it?

“We must never underplay the importance of knowing scriptural truth and doctrine. You cannot live the Christian life unless you understand Christian truth. We must [also] never be satisfied with mere intellectual apprehension of doctrine. It must work itself out in our lives.” – Ligon Duncan

This week in class we looked at the Colossian problem of spiritual drift from Colossians 2:6-23. Graham detailed some great things from the text to do and not do to avoid spiritual drift as we rely on Christ’s power, not ours, to accomplish this. He challenged us to think about how abounding in thanksgiving through thankfulness to God helps guard our hearts from discontent and spiritual drift. He encouraged us to take time this week to list reasons that we are thankful and to thank God specifically for WHO He is and WHAT He has done. Will you take time today to be abounding in thanksgiving as you go above and beyond in your thanksgiving to God?

Meanwhile, the ministry of God’s Word grew by leaps and bounds. – Acts 12:24

Would you enjoy investing in a virtual bridge to connect women with the opportunity to be equipped to think more rightly about God?

Are you looking for a way to support a specific and needed project for Womenary?

The Womenary Board believes to accomplish our mission, to equip women to think biblically by providing theological studies, we must work in the media realm of today’s women. The purpose of the 12:24 Campaign is to fund the re-design and maintenance of an updated Womenary Website to
expand reach, accessibility, and impact.
Your support enables women to grow in Christ, spreading His Gospel by a deeper understanding of His Word. Even in the “meanwhiles” of life. We are excited about all that is to come as we prepare for the next season of Womenary and want you to be part of that journey! God has been faithful to provide $27,388.88 through many of you already. Thank you to those of you who have partnered with us already and to those
who will partner with us in the future. Will you consider helping us fund the remaining $12,611.12 to fully cover this project? Every donation provides another section of our bridge to women in the meanwhiles of life who don’t even yet know they need the equipping Womenary offers.

Our Executive Director, Leslie Bunt and our Administrative Director, Erin Lesniewski spent a few days in Indiana at The Gospel Coalition’s Women’s Conference as they turned their eyes to Jesus as they saw the Savior in the Psalms. They worshipped and learned alongside 9,000 women of all ages who desired to love God with their minds and attended multiple breakout sessions to help equip them as they lead Womenary into the future.

It was encouraging to be in a breakout room full of around 300 women and hear one of the facilitators share that, “the church is stronger when women know theology,” as they spoke on the importance of theological education. Speaker and author, Nancy Guthrie started seminary when she was 48, and shared during the session that it helped her “shore up” all she knew. I love that to “shore up” means to strengthen, support, or reinforce something. At Womenary we desire to strengthen, support, and reinforce our faith through theological education. You may not be able to physically go to seminary, but you can attend in-person classes and learn theology alongside other women in a Womenary class. This practice strengthens our families, communities and churches as we grow to think more and more rightly about God.

It is not too late to register for our Expositional Study of Colossians: The Sufficiency of Christ with Dr. Graham Hale held on Tuesdays, through June 30, from 9:30-11:30 at Green Acres Baptist Church.

Register today at womenary.com/register and shore up what you know about God.
