Join us for a free, fun, and exciting afternoon of coding, robotics demonstrations, and other hands-on activities at the UT Tyler Youth Code Jam!
The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the Ornelas Activity Center on the UT Tyler University Academy’s Tyler campus.
Youth Code Jam is open to ages 4-14 (Pre-K through eighth grade) and their families! Parents or guardians must attend with their children. No prior coding experience needed!

Register by April 3 at uttyler.edu/youth-code-jam! The first 200 participants will receive a free T-shirt!

The School of Education hosted their Bridging Ceremony for graduating students to represent their entrance into the next steps of their teaching careers.

UA Longview has been recognized by the Accelerating Women’s Success and Mastery in Computer Science honor roll for its efforts to encourage and support female students in the field of computer science. AWSM in CS is a National Science Foundation funded project focused on increasing access and participation of young women in computing courses.

The University of Texas at Tyler placed #22 on the Online Master’s Degrees’ annual rankings of the nation's top universities for an online master's in reading/literacy education.

The University of Texas at Tyler University Academy recently announced that its Longview campus has expanded to allow 130 additional students for the 2023-24 school year.

The Longview campus will be adding two kindergarten classes and one additional classroom for each grade 1st through 4th.
