The award winning Chapel Hill Highlighters Drill Team is under the direction of Katie Hewitt and assisted by Allyson Maranitch.
The Highlighters are a group of exceptionally talented young ladies in grades 9-12 from Chapel Hill High School. The Highlighters bring with them the tradition of excellence and prestige from winning National Championships to dazzling audiences with their halftime performances and spring shows since their creation in 1970. Stay tuned for more exciting events and performances from the Highlighters Drill Team!!

We are beyond proud of our Officer line and everything they accomplished this weekend! 💙✨
These girls were absolutely phenomenal—earning TWO blue ribbons in evaluations, growing together as leaders, and making unforgettable memories along the way! 🏅🏅
Watching them work hard, support one another, and have so much fun reminds us just how bright their future is. We can’t wait to see them step into their roles, lead with confidence, and shine all year long! 🌟
