Italian Cooking Classes
Come Cook with Us La Cucina D'Angelo brings authentic Italian food to East Texas through interactive cooking classes.

A first generation Italian, Carlo's passion for Italian food began at a early age while working in his family's Italian Bakery and Market in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This love for Italian food and culture led Carlo to later make several trips to Italy to study and refine his skills. Let Carlo and his lovely wife Dianna show you how to transform a few simple ingredients into a quality Italian meal that you can easily prepare and serve to your family.

Cooking class was a great success tonight. We tried a different approach (less hands-on cooking by the students and more demonstrations). This approach let us cover a lot of dishes in a short amount of time. In 2.5 hrs we demonstrated a caprese salad, roasted eggplant with mint and tomato crudo, roasted pepper with garlic and Italian parsley, spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, fried zucchini blossoms, zucchini risotto and watermelon granita.
I think it was a hit. Don't miss our last Summer class on July 28th.

Ramps are a North American species of wild onion widespread across eastern Canada and the eastern United States.
They are only available for a short time in the Northeast during Spring time so if you get the chance, try them!
