What a Night for An Orange Nation! 🧡
Our 2026 An Orange Occasion was a tremendous success, with 41 Oklahoma State alumni, friends, and supporters coming together for an evening of fellowship, Cowboy pride, and celebration.
One of the highlights of the evening was recognizing our incoming East Texas freshmen. Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, what began as two $500 scholarships turned into something even more special. After a generous alumnus donated an additional $1,000, we were able to award all four incoming freshmen in attendance with $500 scholarships. Investing in the next generation of Cowboys is what our chapter is all about, and we couldn’t be more excited for these students as they begin their journey at Oklahoma State.
A special thank you goes to Barry Hinson, our marquee speaker, for sharing his insight, enthusiasm, and passion for Oklahoma State University. His remarks were a true highlight of the evening.
We were also honored to recognize Steve and Marilee Braley for their many years of unwavering support and dedication to Oklahoma State University. Their generosity, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on countless students and alumni, and it was a privilege to celebrate their contributions.
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. Your enthusiasm and commitment continue to make the East Texas Chapter one of the strongest OSU alumni communities anywhere.
