"Hi my name is Rosanna Roach and I am so excited to join the Owen’s family!

This will be my seventh year of teaching. In my seven years I have worn many different hats in the school system. I have taught head start three year olds, I was a high school counselor serving tenth graders and this past year I was the all level special education teacher. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing students have that aha hah moment when they understand something for the very first time. Seeing their face just light up makes it all worth it!!!

I received my elementary education degree from East Texas Baptist University and my Educational Psychology degree (M.Ed) from Texas A&M University.

I will be new to Tyler as well as Tyler ISD and Owen’s Elementary School!
I am so excited for this school year and I am looking forward to meeting all of my students and co-workers soon! Go Eagles!

"I am thrilled to be joining the Owens family as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher! Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of working in special education, first as a paraprofessional and then as a teacher in Cumby, Texas. Supporting students as they learn, grow, and flourish has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

I am excited to bring energy, enthusiasm, and joy to the classroom each day. I look forward to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student feels supported, valued, and celebrated.
I am especially excited to build meaningful relationships with my students, their families, and the Owens team. I can't wait to meet all of my wonderful students and begin this exciting journey together!"

"I am formerly an Owens Eagle-kindergarten class of 1992-back to serve children in the best way I know how. I was born and raised in Flint, Texas; graduated from Tyler ISD and earned a Bachelors degree from UTTyler - Talons Up! I’m so excited to serve students in a new capacity. My husband and I, and our two children reside in Bullard but we live our lives on whatever ballfield is on the schedule. I run on coffee, sunshine, and snuggles from my overgrown lapdogs. This is going to be a great school year, Eagles!

"Hi! My name is Stephanie Ginn, and I’m so excited to be joining Owens Elementary as the Media Technology Specialist/Librarian! I have 10 years of teaching experience and am looking forward to stepping back into the education world.

When I’m not at school, I love to spend time with family and friends, travel, and work on my latest needlepoint project!

"I enjoy being with family and friends and love working out and staying active. I was part of the very first graduating 5th grade class at Owens the year it opened. I’m so excited to be back at the school where it all began for me.

Coach Balkey was the best PE teacher and she inspired me to follow in her footsteps.
