We had a great time at the Love Thy City event! It was wonderful connecting with families, sharing enrollment information about Tyler ISD Head Start, and seeing some of our current Head Start families!

Each year, Tyler ISD Head Start is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community event, and each year it gets better!

HAPPENING TODAY! Back on Schedule Parent Session!

Parents, join us TODAY for our Back on Schedule session! We’ll talk about simple ways to create morning and bedtime routines to help make busy school days a little easier.

You’ll also create a routine chart to take home and start using right away!

📍 Peete Elementary
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Food and childcare will be provided, and we’ll have giveaways for parents in attendance.

In Ms. Ledesmas’s Head Start class at Bell Elementary School - Tyler ISD, they start the year learning procedures.
One procedure is “The Door Bell” that she pushes when she needs to get their attention. Ms. Ledesma provides a poster with visuals and the words, teaches them what the doorbell sounds like, what the class should sound like when she needs their attention, what the class should look like after the doorbell is pushed, and she practices with them daily and throughout the day.
