Pi Kappa Phi - Theta Pi Chapter at UT Tyler

Share

Theta Pi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at the University of Texas at Tyler. Chartered December 1, 2007.

Pi Kappa Phi was founded on the premise of creating leadership opportunities for our members. Our founders exemplified leadership in the classroom, on the athletic field, in campus politics and within the community of Charleston. Leadership is the very root of our organization, and it is the concept of leadership that shall guide us to our future.

"One day, or day one? You decide." - Unknown

Change doesn't happen overnight, and it doesn't happen on its own. It is our responsibility, as members of Pi Kappa Phi, to stand up for what is right, against what isn't and be the change that you want to see in the world.

Earlier this month, Brothers Jeffrey and Shamyl ran into alumnus Shane Conway, who serves the national headquarters as a leadership consultant, while having their first experience with Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders. The men traveled from North to South Carolina on a six-day journey and learned a lot about the fraternity's deep history while developing their leadership skills. Jeff and Shamyl discovered a newfound appreciation for Pi Kappa Phi and hopefully they found a piece of the trip that they can take back to Tyler to help impact their chapter in a positive way. We hope you had a great trip brothers!

The other day, Brothers Bradley, Danny and Aristeo traveled to Shreveport, Louisiana to meet the Journey of Hope south route team as they made their friendship visit stop through Shriners Hospital for Children! They spent their day making a ton of new friends and showing their appreciation for all the hard work that the Journey of Hope team is putting in for the Ability Experience! We appreciate everyone involved in such a wonderful cause!
