Protecting your children is not just a responsibility to us—it is a calling.

As technology continues to evolve, particularly with the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence, I
want you to hear this clearly from me: your child’s safety, identity, and dignity will always
come before convenience, creativity, or trends.
AI tools now make it easy to alter photos, generate images, or transform likenesses in ways
that were unthinkable just a few years ago. While some of these tools are marketed as fun or
artistic, they also introduce serious concerns around data privacy, consent, and long-term
digital exposure—especially for children.

At Stepping Stone, we believe children do not need to be “enhanced, filtered, fixed, or transformed to be celebrated."

They are already enough.

This is why we have implemented a clear and firm policy: student images will never be altered, generated, or manipulated using AI tools.

We will not upload student photos to third-
party AI platforms, create avatars or cartoons of children, or use technology that compromises their likeness or identity.

What we will do is continue to document your child’s learning and growth authentically—
capturing real moments, real joy, real curiosity, and real connection.

These moments matter because they are true.

Your trust means everything to us. Thank you for partnering with us, for asking thoughtful
questions, and for sharing our commitment to protecting childhood in a rapidly changing
world.
