The purpose of this organization is to create a community of biologists at UT Tyler In doing so we aim to:
1.

The purpose of this organization is to create a community for graduate biologists at the University of Texas at Tyler; to provide students with a forum to share their concerns and ideas with the Biology department; and to create unity through a common interest in advanced biology education, enabling students to share their passion with the entire campus community. Promote undergraduate education though mentoring and undergraduate research opportunities.
2. Increase campus-wide awareness of the biological sciences through sponsored events and participation in the UT-Tyler community.
3. Maintain the presence of the University by attending scientific meetings, seminars, and other science related programs.

Come learn about some of the research going on in the biology department and about potential volunteer opportunities! We will be meeting with Dr. Bill, Dr. Azghani, and Alan Lizarraga in BEP 140 from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

Got a lab report due this semester? Stop by for our lab report workshop! BOTT members and officers will be working on and reviewing lab reports in BEP 140 on Friday Oct 20th at 9 am to 11 am.

Celebrate Arbor Day this Saturday Oct 14th with the Patriots Trees Committee from 9 to 11 am. Meet at Ornelas Residence Hall and join us in planting some trees! Pre-registration is required through patriots engage.

We are taking orders for club t-shirts! If you are interested in buying a shirt either place your order by scanning the QR code or place your order with one of the club officers. Shirts are $25 and should be paid in cash.

Be creative and have fun🎃👻🎃👻 All you have to do is 1. Have a costume 2. Take a picture (or member can take one for you) and 3. Upload it to the Biology of Tyler Texas page or just tag it!!!
