🎓Bishop Gorman Class of 2026 has acceptances to UNC, Notre Dame, and the Naval Academy
This year’s 34 graduates have earned nearly $11 million in college scholarships and secured 120 college acceptances nationwide. Additionally, 35% of the class earned admission into Honors Colleges, with students receiving acceptance offers from some of the nation’s most selective universities.
We are proud to recognize five outstanding seniors whose accomplishments reflect the excellence of Bishop Gorman Catholic School:

⭐ Sylvie Geer, Valedictorian of the Class of 2026, was also accepted to Notre Dame. An award-winning artist, class president, and state champion, Sylvie earned more than $1.6 million in scholarships and will attend The University of Texas at Austin to study civil engineering.
⭐ Sayo Ifafore, Salutatorian and Student Body President, was accepted to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A varsity athlete, student leader, and founder of the Red Cross Club, Sayo earned more than $200,000 in scholarships and will attend the University of Houston Honors College to study Public Health.

An Eagle Scout, four-year varsity athlete, and dedicated servant leader, Brooks earned more than $500,000 in scholarships and becomes the third Bishop Gorman graduate in four years to receive a service academy appointment.
We are incredibly proud of these students and all members of the Class of 2026 as they continue to pursue excellence in academics, leadership, faith, athletics, and service.
