We are so excited to share the news that Katelyn will be joining our team! She has bled pink since the day she started with us! Not only was she a great cheerleader but she’s always had such positive attitude! She has a light that shines so bright and we’re so happy she will be coaching with us this year! We can’t wait to see her in this role and are thrilled!!

We are so thrilled to welcome Kennedy to the HIVE! We are exited to have her join our crew! She will be a team coach this season and we are excited for her to bring her experience and expertise to the mix!
“ Hi, I am Kennedy. I am from Vancouver, Wa, but moved to Texas, in 2016 for college. I went to Navarro college and cheered there from 2016-2018. In 2018, I won NCA Collegiate Nationals with Navarro cheer. While at Navarro, I cheered for Cheer Athletics on Coalition 6. After Navarro, I went to Sam Houston State and have spent 3 years on the coed cheer team. I am currently a teacher, and have been coaching cheer for the past 5 years. I am so excited to join the Spirit of Tyler family!”

We are so happy to announce that Paiten was offered a position on the UT Tyler cheerleading team! We are so proud of her and excited that she will be cheering on the Patriots next season! The orange and blue will be getting a good one, they are so lucky to be gaining an athlete like Paiten. She’s been the ultimate team player, an encourager and such an amazing flyer and performer for the last 9 years. As sad as we are to see her go, we are so thrilled that she will continue on with UTT and they will gain a humble and committed athlete and all of her amazing qualities and skills that she brings to the table. We are so excited for this next chapter in your life PK! Go get em sis! We love you big!! 💙🧡 GO Pats!!!!

Let me tell you who is bringing home the gold this season….our parents!! 🥇🏆 These tables were insane and the send off that they gave all of the athletes was unbelievable! We were in awe of every single table and detail! These kids were treated big time after some long practices to walk out to this! I truly believe there isn’t a thing in the world a cheer mom can’t accomplish. Give her a bobby-pin and some hairspray and she can build a skyscraper! We have the BEST parents in the game! These kids sure are lucky and so are we! Thank you for everything you do to make SOT so special! Sometimes you have a thankless job but we know much much your kiddos love and appreciate you and so do we! 💗🎀

The very last time to take the stage with “Tyler” across their chests has come. These beautiful young women gave it their all on that cheer floor one last time this weekend. It’s been an honor to see most of them grow up right before my eyes. The seniors we’ve had for only a couple of seasons, we wish we had you from the start! It’s truly an end to an era. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that I don’t see these girls walk through the doors several times a week like some of them have for the last 12 years. It just doesn’t seem real.
I have seen these athletes grow, master new skills, tackle and navigate their way through challenges. I’ve seen them have the best days and the worst of days. I have seen them shine, I’ve seen them stumble. I’ve seen them be the positive example, the role models, the encouragers and the ones that help everyone else get the job done. I don’t want this time to come to an end but I have 100% confidence in all of these beautiful young ladies that they will be successful in their next chapters. I know because I’ve seen them overcome a plethora of obstacles and always find a way, I’ve seen who they are when their backs are against the wall and I’ve seen them grow through their hardships. They are ABSOLUTLEY ready for this next chapter, so mamas, don’t worry…They’ve GOT THIS! Go out there and make your mark on the world just like you’ve done here! Thank you for allowing me to be in your lives, it’s been an honor! I love every single one of you so big! I hope SOT will always be home for you! Go out there and bee all you can bee!!

It was “throwback” night for Killer Bees! It was like taking a trip down memory lane with every uni worn. One was even from 2011…15 years ago! It’s bittersweet as the season is quickly coming to an end. We are going to miss our seniors so so much! Soaking up all the moments that we can!! Stingers Up!! 🐝🖤

We are so thrilled to announce that Andrea has made the All Girl team at SFA! She will be joining the purple, black and white next season as she will cheer on the Lumberjacks! She has worked hard for this accomplishment and we could not be prouder! Her grit, determination, relentless effort to do her best and ability to apply corrections quickly have been key in accomplishing this goal of hers!! She is an absolute force and so fun to watch in the air! We can’t wait to see what she continues to accomplish in her next chapter with SFA! Go get em Andrea!! You’re going to do big things sis!
