Happy first practice day! We thought it would be fun this season to share some words each week from some of our alumns! Meet Brittany! Brittany was on our very first team ever! She started with us back in 1997 and continued all the way through high school until she graduated in 2003. She was an awesome base, very dependable and strong. She was also a force on the dance floor and lit up the stage! She was an incredible performer and technical dancer and helped lead our hip hop, jazz and pom teams to some national title wins! She was on the first dance team that ever won a National title for Spirit of Tyler. She was a good teammate, dependable and always full of program pride. The time we had with her is so very special and she was a part of laying the foundation that has made the program what it is today.
She is now an assistant principal at Stanton Smith in Whitehouse and is married with two awesome boys. We loved hearing her share her advice! So true! We love ya Britt!

Introducing our Day 2 camp wear! This set is a replica of our first ever uniform ever worn 30 years ago! Who better to model it than Allie and Kennedy, both our current longest standing members! This is year 14 for them! Baylor is our full circle moment being the daughter of Abby who wore this uniform 30 years ago as one of our 14 original members. She’s starting season 6! It was extremely nostalgic to see these three in this uniform. So much time and life has passed in the last 30 years, more than can ever be written in words. It’s hard to express all the emotions that were taking place. Gratefulness was the overwhelming feeling when these three put on these uniforms. We CANNOT WAIT to see everyone in this uniform at camp! This is so very special and we’re so excited!! 💙❤️

Congrats to Kaiya for receiving the incredible honor of Top All American at cheer camp. Kaiya received the highest score out of all of the All Americans from the entire camp! We are so proud of her! What a huge accomplishment!! Kaiya is a member of the Bullard Varsity cheerleading team and will be cheering for the Panthers under the Friday night lights this fall! Way to go Kaiya! We are so excited to announce that Skylar will be joining us this season as a team coach! Many of you have seen her every summer for the past 5 years as a tumbling coach and we so thrilled she will be on teams with us this season!! We have waited a longggg time for this day! We have seen her grow up before our eyes during all of her years in the program and to see her stepping into this role seems very full circle and makes us so happy.💗

Spirit of Tyler has been a huge part of my life for many years, both as an athlete and a summer tumbling coach. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue being a part of a program that has meant so much to me.

We are beyond excited to to begin our hip hop season! We welcomed in 100+ athletes into our hip hop program this year! It was fun and exciting to see all of the talent at tryouts! Season 30 is going to be one to remember! We are thrilled and can’t wait to get started!!

A big congrats to Emma for being named Top All American at NCA cheer camp! Top All American is given to the cheerleader that scores the highest score out of every athlete that is selected for All American! What a big honor!! She is a varsity cheerleader at Union Grove High School where she cheers on the Lions! We are so proud of you Emma!! You go girl!! 💗🖤
