Good morning everybody. Sounds like a nice clinic job in the Metroplex for anyone wanting to move to the Dallas area. Saxton Schroeder and Jodi (Little) Olsen, both program grads, work for them.
Crown Imaging.
This center is in the heart of Dallas medical district off I-75 & Greenville Avenue, just south of I-635. We are across the street from Presby Dallas Hospital.
Opened originally in 2002 as a Limited Partnership, my husband & I became owners in 2008 as a privately owned facility with no physician ownership. Our center is 11,000 sq ft with these modalities: MRI (2 1.5T); CT; XR & Fluro; Ultrasound & Echo; Nuc Medicine. All equipment is GE except for the Ultrasound units.
Our focus is providing the ultimate in the patient’s experience and excellence for all referring doctors. We have onsite radiology coverage daily from several radiologists from Texas Radiology Associates – who read for 20+ hospitals in the area, including Presby Dallas, MCT Plano and others. To accomplish our goals, all staff are dedicated to treating patients as if they were their family members. This requires a working environment that is free from a lot of factors common to hospital corporate thinking. Family owned. Family run. Meaning it feels like family.
Some reasons a candidate might choose Crown Imaging over hospital owned centers would include:
- Hours. We work Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 with no weekends; no call; no holidays. This has proven attractive to Techs who have been in the hospital setting without those benefits and need some quality of life. For new graduates, this means they start with hours that enable them to ‘have a life’. This would be especially attractive to anyone who already has a family.
- Culture. As mentioned, being family owned and operated, the working environment focuses on care for the patient and for each other. We spend most of our time at a work, so let’s make it as good as we can by honoring each other.
- Growth. As stated above, we have a history of taking staff that are committed and engaged to the next level of their career – by cross training them on the job to other modalities.
