Yesterday trap team members Levi Eide, Caeden Goutermont, Luke Senst, and Zander Bruzek braved the scorching heat and helped the Two Harbors Federal Credit Union with their customer appreciation shredding event. Another Minnesota State Championship in Alexandria is in the books! The forecast for today called for rain and thunderstorms, but we got lucky and just had brief rain showers. Our team placed 12th out of 44 teams in Class 3A. We saw many personal bests today! Congratulations to Josh Johnson Joe Poe, and Cody Dallum on perfect 25 scores. Josh Johnson was high gun for our team. Great way to finish his season. We were proud of how our kids represented THHS and our community. All 26 members on our team participated and it was great to see all of the parents there to support our team. Thank you to the Bruzeks for organizing and preparing a lunch to feed the team and families. Thanks to Vi Hanson for all of your running today to help keep things organized. Thank you to all of our coaches for all you do for the team. All of our coaches generously donate their time and expertise. Thanks to the parents for all of your support. Finally, thank you to all the kids who participate on the THHS Trap Team. You are awesome!

We were waiting to get both of our awards from the Pheasants Forever Shoot in Proctor. Connor Krull had a perfect 25 in one round and Addie Goutermont was first place female in the novice division. Congratulations to both of you.

We had our end of the year fun shoot tonight and lucked out with beautiful weather. The kids shot Annie Oakleys, back your buddies, and a black bird shoot. Congratulations to Josh Johnson for being awarded top gun for 2026 and Addi Hastings was most improved shooter.
We also want to thank Na-Cho Bizness for providing all of the food. They fed over 50+ people tonight. You are amazing and it was very much appreciated! Next stop is the State Championship Shoot in Alexandria. Our entire team will be competing.

Thank you to the NRA and the NRA Foundation for awarding the THHS Trap Team a gun for use as a team gun. Many of our team members have used this gun this past season. The NRA Foundation has been very supportive of our team throughout the years through their grant program. It is greatly appreciated.
