Honoring Veterans Day at New Adventures!
Today, our preschoolers and toddlers at New Adventures Twinsburg learned all about Veterans Day and what it means to be a Veteran. We were honored to host a special guest- Kate Disney, a retired army nurse and aunt of our very own Ms.Paige!
Kate shared a story about Veterans Day and talked to the children about the importance of honoring those who serve our country. She even brought some of her and her husband’s Army gear for the children to explore and try on! 🇺🇸🎖️
Our Preschoolers also made heartfelt thank you notes to give Kate, showing their appreciation for her service and all that veterans do for our country. ❤️
Unfortunately, Kate’s husband, Patrick Disney, who proudly served and retired at the rank of Colonel, was unable to join us today as he is out of town- but we send him a huge thank you as well for his service and dedication.
This hands on experience helped our young learners understand bravery, service, and gratitude in a meaningful way. Thank you, Kate, for sharing your story and helping us celebrate this important day!
