Honoring Natalie Kafar 💙💛

Natalie was a beloved part of the Lakewood community for 30 years, and her impact on our students, staff, and families will never be forgotten.

In her honor, we are proud to dedicate and rename our softball fields.

Please join us on Tuesday, September 8 at 4:00 PM for a brief memorial ceremony with Natalie’s family and friends as we come together to remember, honor, and celebrate an incredible member of our Lakewood family.

Welcome back, students and families! We are so excited to begin another year of learning, growing, exploring, and making memories together.

As we kick off the school year with tonight's open house (4:00 - 6:00), we're also thrilled to introduce our beautiful new garden area on the northside (parent drop off/pickup)—a special space that will inspire curiosity, creativity, reading, and a love of nature.

A heartfelt thank-you to our amazing community partner, Creative Edge Landscapes, for designing and generously donating this incredible space. Your kindness and dedication have created a lasting gift that our students will enjoy for years to come.
