When the Xavier Oracle called the juniors to a glorious fate; they answered the heroes call. They have been making heroic efforts in their quest!
Mr Barnhill helped the 7th grade team decorate their spirit wall for eXalt week.
The school was all a buzz with Literary dress up day!
The Knights of Ni (seen here) are one of six grade-level teams of Upper School students and four teams of teachers who have courageously answered the Hero's call to join Xavier's eXalt Week Quest for honor, glory, and prizes of unfathomable wonder! May their names echo down through the centuries alongside former heroic legends like Beowulf and Hercules!
Some chosen Choir and Band students got to spend two days learning music and skills in their craft. They performed the pieces they had learned in a concert Thursday night. It was spectacular! We have some real talent at Xavier.
We want our Xavier students to stay safe. Today, the safety committee presented the ALICE training information to the secondary student body and we went over some safety protocols in the classroom.

In response to the humanitarian crisis and ethnic cleansing campaign last week against the Armenians of Artsakh, our student government helped to paint the Phoenix and are helping gather warm clothing, socks, thermals, coats, sweaters, hats, gloves, baby clothes, hygiene essentials and other items to be sent to Yerevan (the capitol of Armenia). These can be donated at the Fall frolic. Please Email Mrs Maki for further information.

Mr Goss is our Secondary Principal. Fun fact: His Bostonian accent can still be detected!
“In 1988 I moved from Boston, to a ranch 10 miles No. of Bliss. I was seeking an adventure and a change from city life. It took some getting used to, but I love Southern Idaho, the wide-open spaces and the friendly people who live here. Like me, my wife is in education. She is currently the librarian at Twin Falls High School. We have two children. My son is currently a medical doctor in the US Army at Walter Reed hospital in Washington DC and my daughter is a registered nurse in the ICU unit at the University of Colorado Hospital in Fort Collins.
I spend a lot of my free time, hiking, fly tying and fly fishing throughout the West. When I have longer vacations I head back East and fish the North Atlantic off the coast of Rhode Island.
Hi Everyone! I am Mrs. D. This will be my 24th year teaching. I moved back to teaching Kindergarten this year and I am loving it! My favorite subject to teach is reading.
My husband and I have 2 girls that attend our school. I taught both in Kindergarten many years ago. Now they are in the 11th and 9th grade.
I enjoy gardening, reading, catching up with my sister on the phone, going on walks and spending time with my family.
Hello! I am Mindy Stewart! I first started my education career teaching preschool for 9 years. I have also taught kindergarten and was the director of a Christian school. I was a stay home mom for awhile with my 4 kids (current ages 23, 22, 14 and 10). During that time I volunteered daily each of their classrooms.
This is my 6th year teaching 2nd grade at Xavier. I absolutely love connecting and making lasting relationships with my students and their families!
Outside of Xavier, I spend my time with my family in the outdoors (looking for wildlife, lichen and rocks). I am obsessed with any and all books! I also spend as much time as I can with my 1 year old grandson (who is the cutest grand-baby EVER)!
I have 2 dogs, 3 cats and a gecko (named Oreo by a former class of my Xavier students….they are now in 6th grade!
Somehow, Mr McGhee will get these beginning band students sounding awesome by performance time 😂
Mr McGhee is our Secondary Music teacher. He began a new music productions class this year and also oversees Treble Rebels and Jazz Band after school. He refuses to ever put the spotlight on himself so I’ll say a couple things for him…
Will McGhee is a music talent and a teacher who loves encouraging young musicians. This is his sixth year at Xavier. While his specialty is the Sax, he can figure out how to play any instrument. He is a mentor and example to our students. He is as serious as one can get, but his daughter can bring out a smile that is genuine happiness! We are lucky to have him.
We are the front office staff at Xavier Charter School. We love seeing the kids come by every day and watching them grow! We are the official band aid dispensers of the school, and help to make sure the kids get where they need to be safely. Mrs. Young has been with Xavier for 18 years since the school opened. She enjoys spending time with her grandkids, sitting in the she shed and relaxing with her husband, and shopping. Mrs. Norris has been with Xavier for 3 years. She loves travelling with her family, her dogs Leo and Archer, and reading. This is Mrs. Requa's first year at Xavier! She farms and ranches with her husband, enjoys travelling, loves spending time with her dog Oliver and her pet bull Cleatus. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year.
Hi there! My name is Mrs.Stowe and this is my second year teaching fifth grade. I graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelors of Education with an English Emphasis. I am an Xavier alumni and a coach for the Trap & S***t Club. On the weekends, you will find me building my future home and being outdoors. I love hunting, fishing, camping, reading, and spending time with my husband and two dogs. When we do finish our house, I look forward to having the opportunity to grow a cut-flower garden, raise some animals, and begin the next chapter in my life.
