Here we are at the “2021 Denim & Diamonds Gala” benefiting the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation at Canyon Crest Event Center over looking the Snake River Canyon.
We are heading to Twin Falls, Idaho to help the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation with tomorrow nights “2021 Denim & Diamonds Gala” at the Canyon Crest Event Center overlooking the Snake River Canyon. Jenn Thomsen, Rocio Cespedes Lemmons and my wife Jeanne E Wooden are ready to me in line…AGAIN !!!
We are heading back out west on Thursday for the “2021 Denim & Diamonds Gala” benefiting the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation. The Gala venue is beautiful “Canyon Crest Event Center”, it sits overlooking the Snake River Canyon. We are excited to be heading back to another of our homes away from home and working with Stephanie Guerry-Hudson. The 2019 Gala (pre-Covid) was amazing and the guests were incredibly giving and supportive.
At TFHS, Counselor, Griselda Escobedo, and College and Career Advisor, Mariah Edwards, applied for and received a mini-grant last year from the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation to purchase a classroom set of yoga mats, blankets, and blocks so that staff members and students could practice some self-care. They were able to be thrifty and find all the supplies under budget which left a little funding to a cart for the yoga supplies. Mr. Woodland, the welding instructor at TFHS was able to build this wonderful cart so that the supplies can be easily transported around campus.
Last month, the Education Foundation & Goode Motors presented at check to Rock Creek Elementary for $2,500. These funds will also Rock Creek to install picnic tables for outdoor dining behind their builds. This donation was a portion of the funds raised through the Goode Gives Back golf tournament which took place in September. The Education Foundation partnered with Goode Motors for this event. We are proud and humbled to be helping the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation again this year with the “2020 Denim & Diamonds Gala” on November 6th, 2020 at Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center in beautiful Twin Falls, Idaho. Canyon Crest overlooks the picturesque “Snake River Canyon.” Last year, guests cried because of the Gala’s incredible success...this year will blow last years away.

Jana Sato, a 3rd-grade teacher, at Morningside Elementary School wrote a grant through the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation for Breakout Boxes. The students worked in small groups to help the Zookeeper find his keys and take care of the animals. They worked together to solve a variety of activities using measurement, time, direction, and computation in order to unlock different locks to achieve their goal.
This Thursday, we are getting on a plane and flying back out to beautiful Twin Falls, Idaho to help the Twin Falls School District Education Foundation with the "Denim & Diamonds Gala" on Friday November 8th.
